It was definitely worth it. I checked in early around am and asked for an upgrade. We had an Executive Corner Suite booked, which is already very nice.

I wanted to try the Panoramic Suite. No go. I also asked for a suite facing the fountains. No thanks. We were there on a comp. So I said ok to the room we booked with a found view.

It wasn't ready, which was fine, and we went to eat at Artisan Noodles amazing noodle place off strip. I got a text later that our room was ready, and figured out that it was facing the freeway on the opposite side of the fountains.

Needless to say, I was disappointed. So we drove back later in the afternoon and got a much more friendly check in attendant.

I asked again for any upgrades or if anyone had cancelled a Panoramic suite. The view from this suite was just amazing. I think it was , the top floor, with an incredible view the of the strip and the fountains.

I've never had a better view in Vegas. Just incredible. Hopefully I can attach some photos. The rooms at Vdara are very nice, but they are not over-the-top luxurious like you'll find at the Venetian and similar.

This is just perfect for families. The couch also folds out, which is perfect. The location is also great.

You can easily walk to the Bellagio or Aria, and it has super easy access in and out. There is no casino at Vdara, which we are totally fine with since they're so close.

And because there was no valet, the parking was super close - like closer than I've had at any other Vegas property.

Everything is just super convenient. We do love the Sky Suites at Aria, but if you're looking for a longer stay or some great amenities, Vdara can't be beat for the price.

As an experienced family who averages nights in a hotel each year, Vdara in many categories exceeds our needs for both luxury and personalized service.

I had stayed at Vdara back in right after it opened on a business trip and have always remembered how nice it was. Our check in experience was AMAZING.

Teresa at front desk is absolutely great. We did had to wait for the room but we were way early for check in. Even when I accidentally checked in on app, Teresa sorted out the situation and ensured me and my family had the right room.

We are celebrating 9 years with my wife, the extra attention to detail and awesome and very courteous service by Teresa really made my personal moment even more special.

To say the least my wife was thrilled. For reference we are comparing Teresa with front desk staff at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, Emirates Tower Dubai, Hyatt Regency Tokyo, Grosvenor Dubai, Mandarin Oriental, Oriental Residences Bangkok etc.

If you are looking to escape the crazy of the Strip but still access to an amazing casino property, love a beautiful room and layout, appreciate care from a hotel staff, than make Vdara your destination.

Couple of things to note. I do have M Life Gold status and I wish the shower was better but minor detail compare with all the good you get for the money.
